This is a short history on HHS (English text).
‘one-one-two’ (Eén-Eén-Twee) is the fire magazine we have been making for the Dutch association of anyone who is interested in the fire service as professional, volunteer or hobby. Since January 1st the publishing of the magazine has been taken over by the VBB. See: www.brandweer.org . You can take a look at the 48 page full-colour magazine by downloading the pdf-file.
On the website of the association you will find a lot of information and pictures of the Dutch fire service: www.brandweer.org
Here you find used books. We start with books in English language. You find books in other languages by clicking on ANTIQUARIAAT. If you are interested in one of these books but first would like to know more about it, you may take an option on the book after which we will inform you more extensively. After this you can decide to buy or not.
Here you find left overs, single copies etc. at reduced prices.
Welcome
HHS Publishers (former Holland Hobby Sales) is active in The Netherlands for over 40 years serving fire, police and ambulance enthusiasts. ‘In the old days’ we also had a worldwide mailorder service for scale models. Nowadays we concentrate on the making of magazines and books as well import books from several countries.

As we do not yet have a full English website we inform you on this page how to browse (left) and how to order (right).

COVID19!
Due to restrictions regarding COVID19, overload of shippers etc. there are no shipments anymore starting January 14th. Also please be aware of a raise in postage costs.
We can only make a reservation on books you would want to order and for this make a binding offer regarding postage.

To most EU countries: 18.00 euro (up to 5 kilo) of 22,00 euro (up to 10 kilo).
To other European countries: 22.00 euro (up to 5 kilo) of 28 euro (up to 10 kilo).
To rest of the world:
32,00 euro (up to 5 kilo) or 52,00 euro (up to 10 kilo).
For ‘lightweight’ shipments like special magazine-issues and small books we will charge a lower rate. All countries: 3,70 euro (up to 500 grams) and 7,00 euros (up to 1 kilo)*.
EU countries: 9,00 euro (1-2 kilo).*
Other countries: 16,00 euro (1-2 kilo)*
*’lightweight’ is being shipped from Germany which takes some extra days processing your order.
Inside Europe: between 1 and 2 weeks.
Rest of the world: between 2 and 4 weeks.
Priorityshipping, insured shipping etc. available on request and will be offered at cost.
